NextGen Class of 2020

I am a curious and passionate artist who loves to experiment and learn through my art.

I enjoyed the course's combination of maths, technology and art as it has allowed me to develop valuable skills that will be beneficial for me when working in the games industry.

I am interested in Concept art because I find character design and background design to be key aspects to games/animation as it is a great way to tell a story and create a scene.

My future goals are to work at a reputable game development studio as either an Environment artist or Vehicle artist as this is where I feel I can be most creative.

Over the last 2 years, I have thoroughly enjoyed coding games, and creating art. It has given me a great insight into the inner workings of the games, animation and VFX industries.

I have always enjoyed games and art and having the ability to combine them is great, I hope to eventually work as a 3D artist in the games industry working on major titles.

My name is Matthew, I would love to one day work in the film or games industry as a VFX artist.

My name is Matthew Nixon. I’m an 18-year-old 3D artist who specialises in environment art.

I am a passionate artist and over the last 2 years my love for art has only grown. The combination of maths, technology and creativity has allowed my skills to flourish.

The course as a whole has definitely helped me get the best out of my animations and has given me a great understanding of Maya as a program.

My name is Daniel Chapman. I am an aspiring games programming student from Hartlepool.

Since I was young I knew I wanted to work in the field of animation, and with help of these past 2 years at Nescot I have massively improved my skills and passion.

During my two-year course (NextGen), I have gained a vast array of knowledge about creating games, animations, and VFX films.

I am a 3D artist passionate about creating immersive environments and storytelling.
